The Pensions Regulator (tPR)
The Pensions Regulator is the UK regulator of work-based pension schemes. It sets the standards for how pension schemes are to be managed and has significant powers to intervene if it has reason to believe that a board of trustees or a company is failing to look after its scheme properly:

The Pension Tracing Service
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) maintains a database of pension schemes to help people who have lost touch with an old pension scheme. The Comet Pension Scheme is registered with the Pension Tracing Service. They can be contacted at the following address:
